main top Introduction last updated 11 / 25 / 2005 Poster(PDF format) dowroad Invitation to "the 3rd Matsuyama International Symposium on Cell-Free Sciences" It is our great pleasure to announce the third conference to be held in Matsuyama late this year. A couple of years ago, we launched “Protein Island Matsuyama International Symposium”sponsored jointly by Ehime University, Ehime Prefectural Government, Matsuyama City Hall and Matsuyama Chamber of Commerce and Industry with our strong wish for sending out our messages to the world on the Science and Industry for the 21st century. “Protein Synthesis System” in particular the concept of cell-free system and its applications were discussed then. For the second year, “Functional and Structural Biology in the post-genome era that took advantage of the cell-free Protein Synthesis System” was the primary subject. Introductory chapters are now over. Versatile applications of this cell-free synthesis system and limitations and/or boundaries thereof shall be discussed for the symposia this year. Those eminent professionals from the research institutes around the globe, who we engage in collaboration with, active at the forefront of the fields of energy, environment and medical, particularly infection will give us updates on their research projects. Their Learning and experiences through use of cell-free system, and outlook of their research projects will be presented and shared with us. We cordially welcome your participation.
